`HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR OAU AGGREGATE SCORE`
Wondering where you stand for OAU admission? Here’s a simple breakdown using a sample candidate. Candidate: Adebayo Temitope Course: Botany TOTAL = UTME (50) + POST-UTME (40) + O’LEVEL (10) = 100 1️⃣ UTME SCORE Formula: (Your UTME score ÷ 400) × 50 Temitope scored 260: (260 ÷ 400) × 50 = 32.50 2️⃣ POST-UTME SCORE Post-UTME consists of: Verbal Aptitude (10) + 3 Subjects (10 marks each) = 40 marks Nathaniel scored: - Verbal Aptitude = 7 Physics = 8 - Chemistry = 6 - Biology = 5 Total = 7 + 8 + 6 + 5 = 26.00 3️⃣ O’LEVEL SCORE Using the best 5 relevant subjects: - A1 = 8 - B2 = 7 - B3 = 6 - C4 = 5 - C5 = 4 - C6 = 3 Nathaniel’s results: English: C4 = 5 - Mathematics: B2 = 7 - Chemistry: C5 = 4 Physics: B3 = 6 Biology: C6 = 3 Total = 25 Therefore: (25 ÷ 40) × 10 = 6.25 FINAL AGGREGATE 32.50 + 26.00 + 6.25 = 64.75% ✅ Nathaniel’s OAU aggregate score = 64.75% Now, you can calculate yours in less than a minute.

Micheal Adedayo· 29d agoRELEASE ON THE PENDING TWO-TICKET POLICY AND ONGOING TRANSPORTATION ENGAGEMENT
*GREAT IFE STUDENTS' UNION* *OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY, ILE-IFE* Ken Saro-Wiwa Building, OAU studentsunion@oauife.edu.ng 🤳🏿Twitter: twitter.com/greatife_su 🤳🏿 Instagram: instagram.com/greatife_su 🤳🏿Facebook: https://facebook.com/greatifestudentunion _Saturday 26th September, 2026._ Ref No: GreatIfeSU/CEC/2026/033 *RELEASE ON THE PENDING TWO-TICKET POLICY AND ONGOING TRANSPORTATION ENGAGEMENT* The Great Ife Students’ Union wishes to inform the student body of the latest development regarding the transportation ticketing policy. Information reaching the Union today indicates that commuters travelling from *Campus Gate* to the *SUB BUS STOP* are being required to pay two tickets. The Union wishes to clarify that this implementation is not based on any concluded agreement between the Students’ Union, Guesstimates Company, and the University Management. Following the ongoing engagements involving the Students’ Union, Guesstimates Company, and the University Management, no mutually acceptable agreement has been reached regarding the proposed two-ticket policy. Consequently, the Director of Guesstimates Company has been directed to put the implementation of the two-ticket policy *on hold* pending further engagement and the reaching of a mutually acceptable resolution. For the avoidance of doubt, the existing one-ticket arrangement remains applicable: SUB Bus Stop → Gate : *One ticket.* Hall of Residence → SUB Bus Stop: *One ticket.* Furthermore, the Students’ Union, Guesstimates Company, and the University Management are still engaged in discussions regarding the transportation arrangement earlier proposed to commence on *October 1st* . Further information will be communicated to students once a definite agreement is reached. The Students’ Union remains committed to constructive engagement with the University Management and Guesstimates Company in ensuring that transportation arrangements on campus are fair, sustainable, and considerate of the interests of Great Ife students. Students are therefore urged to remain calm and await further official communication from the Students’ Union as discussions continue.
